Peter L. Scimeca
Peter Scimeca joined the Fellers Snider Law firm in 2018, focusing his practice in criminal defense and business litigation. Peter has jury tried numerous types of cases ranging from murder to construction defects, with a high success rate.
He is admitted to practice in the Oklahoma Supreme Court and all Oklahoma District Courts, as well as the United States District Court for the Northern and Western Districts of Oklahoma. He is a member of the Oklahoma County Bar Association, Ginsburg Inn of Court, Oklahoma Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, and Gerry Spence Trial Lawyers College. Peter received the 2011 Ruth Bader Ginsburg Award for Outstanding Associate. He currently serves as the District Justice for the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity.
Born in Wichita, Kansas, Peter graduated from Kansas State University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology. He received his Juris Doctorate Degree in 2007 from Oklahoma City University School of Law. Scimeca is a graduate of the Gerry Spence’s Trial Lawyers College in Dubois, WY. He continues his relationship with this law school, serving as an adjunct professor and coaching mock trial teams.
Peter and his wife, Whitney, enjoy exploring the many lakes and rivers of Oklahoma in their 1996 StarCraft aluminum fish and ski boat. He also enjoys making personal home and auto repairs that usually result in providing business to local contractors, mechanics, and physicians.
